Creating a
Life Around What Matters Most : RELATIONSHIPS
There is nothing more important than the relationships we have with God, Self, Spouse, Children, Friends, and Community. It is such a privilege to experience life filled with healthy relationships, created by serving those we love and to be cared for in return.
Life, emotions, and ambitions can become distracting in keeping what matters most at the center of our focus.
The most valuable commodity we can give to these relationships is time and attention. Nothing else compares.
You can give a child everything, but deprive them of time and attention, and they will feel as if they have nothing of value.

Meet Douglas
Having personally reset my life at 40 after divorce, I have spent countless hours seeking for the tools that would best assist me in changing my behaviors in becoming the best father I can, an attractive husband to my future wife, gaining a more joy filled relationship with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and finally be at peace with who I am at the core. Eliminating tension and conflict between the man I am and the man I'm designing myself to become.
Why This Matters
Relationships matter most in this life. Far more than achievements, possessions, or status, the quality of our lives is shaped by the people and the One we are connected to: God, self, spouse, children, family, friends, and community.
These relationships form the true foundation of a meaningful existence. When they are healthy and prioritized, everything else finds its proper place.
My hope is to give value to anyone that visits this site, reads my stories, or ponder on the concepts I share.
How I Approach Life
What I believe helps individuals break free from fear and uncertainty is Humility. It took me four decades to learn that truth. So once I actually started applying actual humility, life began to feel more free and peaceful, allowing compassion and charity to be more present.
Who Are You?
There is no shame in having pure integrity with who you are and where you are in life. Each of us are unique Sons and Daughters of a living God. Peace isn’t found in others’ approval—it’s forged by living without fear of their perception.
Who Do You Want to Become?
Behaviors can only be changed when you know the desired outcome. When you have a clear vision of your best self, the path between where you are and where you are going becomes defined.
What Matters Most?
Attention is the greatest currency in life. More than money and time. What we give our attention to is what defines us. Knowing this allows us to determine what deserves the abundance of our attention, making them the areas of our life that matter most.
Identify and Change Behaviors
In order to elevate who we are today, into the version of ourselves we desire to become, we must find the courage to shift the behaviors keeping us from obtaining the results needed in order to do so.
